FREE CANDY! (kinda…)
Do you want a free candy corn crochet pattern???
I made a few of these little sweeties last year, and I’ll squeeze in some time to create an amigurumi pattern if several of you want this Halloween treat. :) Comment, reblog, and/or ‘Like’ to vote yes!<3 Josephine @ A Morning Cup of Jo Creations (Facebook, Tumblr, Etsy, Craftsy, Ravelry)
Everyone likes free candy, right?
Hi everyone!
This is Josephine, creator of We-Love-Crocheting and A Morning Cup of Jo. I apologize for the lack of new content lately — I admit I bit off more than I could chew when I started this Tumblr on top of everything else I have going on. :( There are just not enough hours in a day!
With that in mind, I now reach out to YOU for help! As many of you know, this blog is all about our community and our shared love for crochet. Do you want to be a co-author for this awesome crochet Tumblr?
Rachel from Little Yarn Friends and Tamica from Passionfyre have been wonderful co-authors on We-Love-Crocheting, and I hope that more of you will hop on board. :) Authors can reblog/post whenever they feel inspired to do so! There’s no need to be a crochet expert or a yarn aficionado — you just have to love crochet and love sharing what you make/find!!! Easy and fun, right? :D
If you’d like to be a co-author at We-Love-Crocheting, send me an email and we’ll get you all set up! :) welovecrocheting@gmail.com
I hope to hear from you soon! Happy crocheting, my friends. :)

GAAAHHH! As of right now (11AM on Sept. 29), there are only 13 more hours to go before our book campaign ends and all orders are closed! This is the last chance to get your hands on our amigurumi pattern book for this price ($22 with FREE SHIPPING!) and support a group of talented indie crafters/designers!
So many people have joined us in this adventure and supported our project! If you don’t want to miss out on this super cute amigurumi book, you can quickly join us on ZOOMIGURUMI!
Please share this last call with your friends, family, crochet and/or yarn club, and anyone else who likes cute animals and crafts! :)Have you ordered YOUR pattern book yet???
My grandma gave me one of her first crocheting hooks she received from her grandma. It’s a size “000” which is a size G hook in modern terms. Also, this is the journal where I draw out my patterns.
<3 crochet hooks with history…
WHO’S ON RAVELRY??? Let’s connect!!! :D
I revived my account today (I apparently started one on April Fool’s Day last year), and I’d love to see what projects you’re working on.
Here’s a link to my page: http://www.ravelry.com/people/amorningcupofjo
What’s yours?
You know how many of us complained about crocheting with black yarn?
The wonderful Lilwhee suggested that we try Clover’s Crochet Lite hooks! They light up so that you can see even the darkest of stitches…
WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THESE BEFORE?!
What do you think of these??
June 27, 2012.
This is just a quick snapshot of the new Baby Panda (top photo) I’ve been working on as a custom order. :) His ears are more sturdy/thick now (so they won’t fold down and hug his head!), and the proportions are a little different than Mumbles (bottom photo). He’s just shy of 4” tall! ^__^

QUESTION: What do you think? Are you ready for another crochet pattern???
I’m right there with you!!!
LOATHE.
ABHOR.
DETEST.
Black yarn is the bane of my crochet life.
Question for our we-love-crocheting community: What project(s) have you tried to crochet in black? How did it go?
WE NEED AUTHORS, DESIGNERS, PATTERN WRITERS, PHOTO-HUNTERS, EXPERT CROCHETERS, BEGINNING CROCHETERS, INSPIRATION SEEKERS… WE NEED CROCHET LOVERS!!!
As many of you know, my vision for We-Love-Crocheting is to create a community of crochet lovers on Tumblr, a community that welcomes and unites crocheters of all skill levels. This is a place where we can all look for inspiration, photos, patterns, and new friends! :) I would LOVE to enhance your experience in this blog community, so I now reach out to you with a new feature!
Currently, in order to post something, you have to go through this long process of submitting your post and waiting for me to upload it…
Wouldn’t We-Love-Crocheting feel more like a community if you could directly post your photos, questions, patterns, and tips onto this blog?!
If you would like to share your work and/or others’ work more freely, please privately message me with your email address and I will make you a We-Love-Crocheting author! This will allow you to post directly onto our community blog, and your Tumblr icon will be featured along with our community blog icon on every one of your posts. :D
I hope that this new feature will lead to a much more engaging and exciting experience for us all!
See you in my ask box very soon, and happy crocheting!

Who’s ready to get started? :D
…or baby hats of any size?
My cousin is having a baby in November and I want to give her a little set of hats.

big-bitch24 submitted: This is my first attempt at a lace parasol. I absolutely love making them and they are such a fun and elegant item for summer.
